The top part of a document is called what?

Header

The top part of a document is called the header. This area sits in the top margin and is used for information that appears at the top of pages—things like the document title, author, date, and page numbers. It’s often repeated on each page, set apart from the main body text. The bottom part is the footer, which holds things like page numbers or footnotes. Bleed is a printing term meaning the image or color extends beyond the edge of the page to be trimmed away, and trim lines show where the page will be cut. So the top region described is the header.
